This website is maintained for the benefit of residents and visitors alike. We would be delighted to receive your contributions including news and events which can be advertised here. Just contact our Parish Clerk. Oving is a charming Buckinghamshire village and we are proud of our history and amenities. The Parish Council has recently completed an ambitious programme of improvement to our facilities, enhancing the village resources on our popular recreation ground. Following many years fundraising Oving PC are now the proud owners of a beautiful Village Hall located on the recreation ground next to a state of the art children’s playground. It is a stunning building with great facilities and available for hire via www.ovingvillagehall.com Oving's football and tennis clubs thrive, and Oving hosts one of the oldest football cups in the country; started in 1890. Oving is home to a 13th century church, All Saints and a superb pub restaurant with stunning views - The Black Boy. We look forward to welcoming you to Oving, should you choose to visit our lovely village. The next PARISH COUNCIL meeting is on Tuesday 9th March 2021. Meetings of the Parish Council will now be held via Zoom during the pandemic.

OVING ROAD SAFETY GROUP
The Mobile Vehicle Activated Sign (MVAS) is now fully operational in Oving and is moved around the village so that we can see where speeding is a problem. The Sentinel Speed camera is then used by volunteers, with mobile patrols in the relevant areas.
The Sentinel camera records speed and vehicle details which are transmitted to the Police. Speeders will receive a letter from the Police and/or a visit from a Police Officer in cases of excessive speed or dangerous driving.
