Oving Parish Councillors are re-elected in 2021.

The Annual Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 11th May starting at 7.15pm.

An Annual Parish Meeting will be held via Zoom on 11th May at which the Chairman will present an annual report of the Council.

The council is non-political and councillors' duty is represent the views of parishioners and to act in the best interests of the community, to maintain the unique character of Oving, while seeking to improve facilities and the environment.  Councillors each have individual areas of responsibility as show under their contact details.

The Council meets bi-monthly usually on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.15pm in the Village Hall.  Agendas are published here and on the PC noticeboard outside the Reading Room.

Agendas and minutes can be downloaded from the PC Minutes & Agendas page of this website. The Annual Parish Meeting, at which all parishioners are very welcome, allows us to hear concerns and ideas from the community.  The Annual meeting of the Parish Council also takes place in May at which the Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected by their Councillor colleagues.

There is a public session at the beginning of each council meeting which we encourage members of the public to attend.  You can speak on any issue relevant to Oving. Members of the public can also contribute to discussion during the meetings to ensure views are heard.  If you have any questions, but prefer not to speak in public, the Clerk will be happy to assist.  Just contact us via email or use the contact form

We look forward to seeing you soon, either at a council meeting or village event.
